About Tacy

Cjuaneza_75Hi! Thank you for stopping by Sapphire Healing! I’m Tacy and I would love to help you in any way that I can. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I am currently living in Minneapolis with my husband Ryan and our Siberian Husky, Ruby.

I am a registered 240 hour yoga teacher, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Asian Bodyworker and a Certified Reiki Healer. I love all things holistic healing! In my daily life I practice yoga, meditation, crystal healing and I incorporate Essential Oils into my daily activities.

I started Sapphire Healing because I have a passion for helping people. I began teaching at the age of 16 when I became a swim instructor. Since then I have taught in many different capacities. I was a Behavior Therapist, a camp counselor, a preschool teacher and a coach. When I began practicing yoga I knew it was the start to something amazing in my life. I started practicing for purely physical reasons but found myself coming back to my mat again and again for the mental clarity and stress relief that I found. I gradually became to realize that teaching yoga was something I was desperate to do. I wanted to take my love and passion for yoga and share it with as many people as I could! I completed my 200 Hr Teacher Training in December of 2014 during a 2 week intensive program in Costa Rica.

Soon after I began teaching yoga and moved to San Diego I found myself coming back to another healing field that I was repeatedly drawn to in the past. Massage! I had looked into going back to school for massage several times in Minnesota, but it never seemed to fit just right. When I found Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA I felt immediately at home and confident that this was the path I was meant the take. This program offered more than just the physical massage training, it offered an education in Chinese Medicine and most importantly a intensive anatomy, physiology and kinesiology foundation. I was also drawn to this program because of the varied modalities. I became confident in western (Swedish massage) and eastern (Tui Na, Thai) modalities. I find massage to be an incredibly powerful tool to healing and living a healthier life.

Please reach out if you have any questions about Yoga, Massage or Meditation. I would be honored to help you on your path to a healthier, happier and more vibrant you!
